If can't pay for nursing home then they should qualify for Medicaid. My mom has alzheimers & is in CO. She is not allowed to make over $1000/mo to qualify for Medicaid but the facility is $8000 mo. That a difference of $7000/mo. I'm sure there is A LOT of people who make over $1000/mo but not $8000 so then what?
