LOL Several years ago I started including a note with my tax forms stating how IRS had screwed up several years in a row...then always corrected themselves. Get rid of IRS! National sales tax exempting food... and even back in a $30,000 "refund" fronted to everyone so the poor do not have to pay it in effect.
I would laugh at the 3 thumbs down I got above....if it wasn't just a tragic verification that people can't handle the truth. They would rather go on believing all the nonsense they have made their new religion when it comes to fighting GMO's.
This is not engineered wheat. It isd different than 100 years ago...but not GMO. Varieites with shorter straw were selected over decades...they just happen to be the ones with higher gluten content.
The kicker is...wheat is NOT GMO. Gluten content has gone up from varieties we now grow. But GMO has nothing to do with it. Correction. Some foreign countries do not take the GMO products. Scaremongering has seen to that. More and more re now allowing it as they see it is the only alternative we have in long run and it is the best alternative we have....vs. going to a one child law like China...or killing off a few billion people.
The content of gluten increased in wheat about half a century ago. Probably more accurate to say over a longer period of time. We now grow varieties that have shorter straw than your great great great grand dad did. That helps me to harvest as many bushels in an hour as he did all summer. These shorter varieties ...more
