I disagree with the premise that business needs to be incentivized to re-invest in America.  Guess what, if they invest in infrastructure those costs are tax-free under our current tax code.  That's an incentive. The only thing I didn't think was ridiculously misguided was support for a single-payer health care syst...more

10 tax mistakes you don't want to make

Wow. That makes no sense.  Clinton was president over a balanced budget and a surplus, dipwad.  So thanks for playing, but you lose.

10 tax mistakes you don't want to make

Bah, this is still regressive. Think about what you are saying.  You make $30k a year, how much do you save? 10%, 15%? so $3k to 4.5k per year.  So, you are paying this tax on everything over the poverty level, which varies depending on household size so you would still have to file and prove something, up to the exten...more

10 tax mistakes you don't want to make

God never asked you to tithe, religion did.  God doesn't need money. And yes, it is far worse to take $5k from someone making $50k than $5M from someone making $50M.  In the first instance you may be making it impossible to meet basic needs while in the second you are not close to having an impact on needs, only wan...more

AND I live somewhere having a  horse is relatively expensive. Snobbery, and its reverse, should be avoided whenever...more

Plight of young black men worse than you...

I call B.S. on your claim to be ".As a former principal, teacher, and coach....in Predominately black schools..." If you were I principal and teacher, you would know how to spell predominantly, and your grammar and syntax would hopefully be much better. I don't know what the answers are, but condemning an entire...more

Wow, Mark_red, why shouldn't the kids pay tax on money they didn't save themselves?  It's a net win for them, after all.  Jeff saved money up, put it away, and generously left it to his children.  He could have spent it, donated it to charity, or flushed it down the toilet.  Instead, he passed it along to the next ...more
