You forgot a couple of steps in there, including: Allow warrantless wire taps on all of your citizenry (Patriot Act). Allow indefinite detention of American citizens without right to trial (NDAA). And BTW, what's the difference between the expiration of a tax cut and a tax increase!  Nothing!

I for one would be more likely to get Prime if it was a low monthly fee as opposed to the flat $79, even if it ended up being more over the course of a year.  Comparing that change to the one Netflix imposed seems a little ridiculous.
