Monster Beverage looks for a buzz from f...

I am once again surprised by this article.  Why are we allowing anyone on foodstamps to purchase such high cost, no nutritional value items as Monster, Mountain Dew, KitKats and other junk food.  Benjamin Franklin said that we need to make people uncopmfortable in their poverty to make them change.  Food stamps should ...more

To forgo an apartment of their own with not room-mates .  To forgo the brand new car.  I did and am looking forward to a good retirement and my early savings amounts were not great but were made e...more

I am all for freedom of speech.  But just as she had the right to speak, she also has to live with the backlash it brought.  I was not a fan before her statements and still am not.  I wish her luck, but will not be a part of her success.

New walkaway alternative for underwater...

I have no problem with helping someone that has had a true hardship. It should be on the mortgage hol;der to work with those that are really in a hardship and want to try and stay in the house.  However simply letting someone  walk away from a mortgage because the home is worth less than when you bought and you have mo...more

Can Obama make private equity pay?

The real problem in this country is that too many people want the govt to take care of all their needs, and wee simply can't afford that on thebacks of those that are working.  Spending needs to be cut and cut dramatically.  I lost my job over a year ago.  I don't know how people are getting 99 weeks of unemployment ben...more

Desperate for cash, Postal Service hikes...

A fairly simple solution is out there and has been voiced before.  Stop the pension for all new hires and set up a 401K retirement system like most companies have and go to the normal snail mail delivery 3 days a week.  Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  Still allows all the advertising junk mail top get delivered on Wed a...more
