Have you never seen the groups that collect Lottery payoffs. Sometimes a small company has most of it's workers suddenly become millionaires.

Then when you die the Government takes 50% of what is left.

The income you receive from investing the lump sum will be taxed in Florida. Better to move to a state with no Income Tax.

What happens to the money if you die before you collect all of it? Is your estate taxed on the total amount, on the value that it could be sold for or on the annual payments?

I am a retired mailman & I have too many stories to tell of dog attacks. I was never attacked by a pit bull but I know of several people who were.
