I have a Tracphone which costs me $19.82 at Wal-Mart /every three months.(Less 1% credit card rebate. The Phone cost $9.99 & I get free double minutes for the life of the phone, which means 120 minutes every three months. That won't work for most people but for me it's a bottomless pit & what I don't use rolls over.

The Income Tax is a real mess but the graduated part of it is NOT that complicated or any problem. That doesn't add to any record keeping or add more than a few seconds to look up in the tables or to do the math. It's all the rest of the *%#@ to get to that final figure.
Those who talk about compound interest on bank deposits have ignored income taxes.
Interest has usually been lower than inflation & then we are taxed on the "profit" we earn.
Four problems:
1. Theft of mail & mail fraud are now Federal crimes, that would not be if the USPS were abolished
2. The unions cannot go on strike now, that would not be if it were privatized.

Surprise, surprise. This is what happens AT EVERY GOING OUT OF BUSSINESS SALE.
Albertson's just closed a store nearby & their going out of bussiness prices remained higher that another store they had nearby all the way till the shelves were empty.
