Not only is 3D a cheezy gimmick to sell theater tickets, but it also alienates a significant percentage of the audience, people with regular prescription glasses.

I'm not at all interested in this film. It looks like yet another film starring the computer graphics.
Show the public something with fancy graphics and toss in the 3D glasses and they eat it up.
I call it the "look.... shiney" factor.

The plot is based on bad science.
The camera never sits still.
And I agree with the "Star Trek 90210" comments.
Star Trek just is not the same without Roddenberry.
