The school isn't banning the girls from being in the year book they banned that particular picture. The girls had the option of submitting a different picture and chose not to.

How is this a bad idea? What privacy do you need while you are in school? It's only used for tracking while you are at school, students are not required to take them home. It is a safety feature. If there is an emergency at the school they would be able to see where all students are and can account for them immediately...more

I'm not for or against either of these groups. I'm just stating facts. Both are heavily "Christian" companies and therefore the deal could still happen. Calling on the Berenstain Bear books to pull out due to "moral values" will probably not work.

I think this article brings up a great point that in many states (although laws vary) if you throw a party at your home (or in some cases, work/event) where alcohol is involved, you can, and usually will be held liable for those people when they leave your party.  Never allow someone to leave your home/work/school etc....more
