I don't think anyone would've expected the Beatles to change rock music back when they first started out. Musically and lyrically around 1962, they were pretty awful. Decca had sense enough to sign the Rolling Stones.

If my wife and I were in our 70s with health issues and we were in this mess with BoA, I could hear both of our parents (products of the Great Depression) yelling at us from the grave "Why in the hell are you carrying a mortgage at your age in the first place!"
