I find it rather odd that the Federal Tax on Social Security can reach 85%.  When I paid SS, the company matched my amount.  The amount I paid in income tax included tax on SS money.  Sooo, only 1/2 of what I receive should be taxable because I already paid income tax on 1/2 of my SS income.  Talk about double taxation...more

Try living in Brasil.  Our credit cards run anywhere from 10? to 20% a month!!!!!  That's right, a month!  Imagine having a R$1000 balance and paying R$100 each month or more in interest.   You wanna play - you gotta pay!!!!!
