FB has been useful in my side interest of pottery or art in general. i've traced real sales for my pottery tool to FB. as well as webhits from FB.
meanwhile, i keep everything very generic. i post pottery pictures, visit groups of the same interest, and burn only about 1/2 an hour a day on the site.
