Stocks climb as EU leaders reassure mark...

what makes an equal percent fair?  if i make $90k a year, 20% is $18000 in tax.  a looser with no schooling and a low end job AND 6 KIDS might make $25000 and pay $5000 in taxes.    likewise someone making $300k would pay $60,000 in tax.    now who's getting the most of usa goods and services?  schools, hand ...more

Stocks waver on tech sector weakness

like the mortgage mess unwinding, a country falling apart is a small sample indicator of how far the rat hole might just go.  i think the checks and balances put in place after the 1929 crash have simply put today's troubles behind curtains.  it's not until the curtain gets pulled back - like greece - that we realize w...more

an old manufacturing phrase - "The devil is in the details".  i wonder when the devil will show his horns again?    They are really closely guarding the truth about the mortgage mess all we are seeing is a couple of wrappers coming undone. still many more left to peel off before we will finally see what it is that...more
