I have had both. Currently have cats - 5 - all rescues, but they do respond to hand signals, their name being called etc... I really think it all depends on how you relate to your animals that makes the difference!

I was just thinking the same thing--he clearly has lost his grip on reality and is living his character...really sad, but I agree the network did the right thing. Saw a portion of his interview (as much as I could stand)...He's totally in denial
