Owned a 62, 2- 63s, 67, 73, and  driven most all of them. Favorite was my 1967 coupe. Scariest was my 62 with 327 CI. 340 horsepower. You had to be a driver to handle the 62, a real white knuckle ride.

Drove my 1979 Malibu 310,000 miles with virtually no issues, driven almost every car at least 250,000 miles, my first car a 56 Chevy went 225000 miles, I sold it because I was tired of it. Saw it around for another 5 years after I sold it. Apparently the people who write these articles weren't around or don't know how ...more

CEOs: Raise retirement age to 70

This is a crock, they're the same ones who took advantage of the economic downturn to layoff everyone over 50. I didn't want to retire but had no choice, Age descrimination laws are BS.  Why the hell weren't some workers represented in the group?  And don't give any BS about not being up to date. Ran a 78 Malibu 320000 miles and then sold it to a young kid who drove it 3 more years. Currently have 210000 miles on my 2002 Avalanche with which I've towed up to 6800 lbs virtua...more

If they don't start working to fix the problems in this country they will lose more ground in the next election. The middle ...more

Are more products designed to fail?

I bought a new washer 5 years ago which was highly ranked and given 5 stars for energy efficiency, it was a piece of junk. I walked into my local appliance shop fed up and requested a washer not made by W415pool. He told me everything thing he had in his store was made by them except one brand which was an old design a...more
