Not to be at all disrespectful, but most people hurt in accidents are not at fault.  The state doesn't pay their medical bills.  The original idea of insurance was people pooling their money together to help the ones who needed it.  We have come a long way from that.

Right on, and don't forget that hospitals were also non-profit--now they are big business!  Also no advertising, and no advertising for drugs either.
