Most of us in the Green Valley retirement community don't seem to be flush with the COLA formula as it stands now. As others have stated, if the Senators and Congressman change over to Social Security as their pension system, we would be much more receptive to "Diet COLA" increases.

Hot Sauce as a thriving industry. Let's move some more jobs overseas, really good hot sauce is made in Thailand and about every other Asian country. I sure this industry will stay in the USA and create a multitude of high paying jobs with medical benefits and great retirement packages.
Absolutely NOT, flood zones are exactly that, areas that are prone to flooding! Sounds like a no brainer. I realize New York City is having problems, but try not to make a feel good moment by rearranging the facts.
Excellent advice. When your income is reduced by 50% or more, a good budget is absolutely necessary. It is difficult to get accustomed to not just buying whatever you want and adjusting to what are your needs.
