It's nice to see that the public has finally started paying down their debts, but when you see that the 300 million of us still owe 11.31 TRILLION, you have to realized just how far down the "garden path" we travelled before pulling our heads out of our butts!  I just hope that at the first sign of an economic upturn w...more

Given all the problems associated with being homosexual in the last couple hundred years,  it's difficult to imagine anyone "choosing" to be gay.  I'm straight, and I don't really understand the attraction..., but then I don't understand why lots of people like things I don't.  It's just part of life.

This country grew and prospered when it left it's citizens alone to do what they felt was right.  It's gone to H-ll since the Government started telling us what we ought to do.  What we could really use is a "Shoot the Politician that annoys you the most Day."

Why Gen Y is losing the debt battle

Why does "Generation Y" have debt problems?  Same reason anybody else has them...., STUPIDITY!  Everybody seems to think they have to have everything right now instead of saving up for it later.  So they fall for the "easy payment plan" scam and end up paying WAY more for everything they have---until it is repossessed....more

Entitlements' unimpeded growth is boon t...

The Social Security Trust Fund was in fine shape and would have remained that way if left alone by the idiotic Democratic Congress under the Johnson Administration. If they  hadn't moved it into the "General Fund in the late 60's to they could rape it to pay for their "Great Society" boondoggles, it would still be fine...more

Entitlements' unimpeded growth is boon t...

Who the h-ll came up with the term "Entitlements"?  The ONLY programs anyone should be ENTITLED to are those they made contributions to all these years like Soc. Sec. and Medicare.  The rest of these so called "Entitlements" are designed to help the poor..., who contribute virtually nothing to the tax base!    These...more

Please note that Seniors paid into those programs their entire working lives!  Which of the recipients can say the same for such boondoggles as Head Start, Welfare, Food Stamps, ADC, etc.?
