You're right, which is why I tell people if they are not willing or able to take on the FULL responsibility of pet ownership then they should not get a pet. If a pet is disposable as soon as it's not cute any more or needs medical care then the person thinking that way should NOT have the pet to begin with.

Telling the student where a particular quote originates is fr different from supplying them with religious literature. He used that as an opportunity to slyly evangelize a minor without parental knowledge or consent.
