I make right at 40,000 a year  for a family of 5 in eastern Tennessee. The cost of living is lower than the national average here. With a $ 700.00 a month house payment, my utilities are $260.00  to $300.00 per month (depending on electric for month averages $ 245.00 per month) and i do use wood burning stove in winter...more
