People are not equal. No matter how hard you people try to make them seem that way. Look at history. History always tells us what we need to know to move forward. And equality is not one of those things. I am not a proponent for limiting class movement but to say that everyone is equal is just simply not true.

Pretty sure that if the kid stays in church and lives a Christ like life, he won't "turn out to be gay himself." But I do applaud you for realizing that people do turn gay. Most people will give a different argument nowadays.
