Pigeon is a relative of the Dove. Dover are GREAT to eat so I wouldn't be surprised that Pigeons are as well. Squab is popular in France especially but also other parts of Europe.

While I live a pretty good life, good career, etc... I can think of "what might have been" if I had partied less and studied more in college. Still, no regrets. Have some great memories from my early college days (at least the ones I remember).
Try scotch whisky in its various expressions whether a classic Highland like MacCallan's, Tallisker from Isle of Skye or a smoky, peaty Islay like Laphroaig or Lagavulen. Basil..., even more technically, all bourbon, and scotch and any other wood aged distilled spirit is "flavored". I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be that crazy about it otherwise. In fact, it would be called "moonshine".
