For one mile at 60 mph, a 350 cu. in. V-8 engine consumes the amount of air a person will breathe in all DAY and produce nearly ONE pound of carbon dioxide !!!  IN ONE MILE!!!  This fact was known in 1961, so when are governments going to get serious about taking care of  our spaceship Earth??
