No wonder this country is in the shape its in, no one bothers to do research OR think for themselves.  SO much better to have no military defense and keep funding a business capable of working alone.  But, I suppose after 40 years you still depend upon your parents for support.

$450 million yearly federal contribution. we pay twice - our taxes and our personal donations. After 40 years, PBS really should be able to stand on their own - just like any other business

Hubby says she should get paid????? Where oh where is the screaming of racism?  Because its a magazine from Spain?  I am well aware this is a very famous painting with Michele's face superimposed, but if this happened in the US the lawsuits would already be served!

Another thing to remember is the biggest reason SS is failing - all the money that has been taken out and used for other things, starting with LBJ.  THAT is why there is no money left for the Baby Boomers.  Do some research.
