Ann was good at reading the news 'at the top of the hour' and doing very obvious human interest stuff like refugee camps, rebuilding homes post Katrina, but EVERY other story how the questions were posed or her body language told you EXACTLY what YOU were supposed to get from the interview or piece.

Problem with the TODAY show started with Katie leaving, but then the show lost focus of what it wanted to be by becoming too long.

Then TODAY could not decide what it wants to be. It used to be a news show, with a side of fluff, but there is no one left who can interview anyone without it being apparent how the interviewer actually feel about the subject.
